AW19 Icon Imagery

Updated: Jun 4, 2020

The AW19 Icon Imagery has dropped. We give a breakdown of what to expect!

It's safe to say the coming AW19 season will be one to remember! With a full Reflective capsule, Hand Painted Camo capsule and a return to the Tank Shield material all catching the eye. Keep reading for a full breakdown of the range!

Mixed textures and fabrics as well as essential lines derived from workwear and military archetypes reflect the functionality of the garments.

On first reflection of seeing the Icon Imagery we feel the stand out range for this season will be the Reflective capsule! Sure to be a winner but this time round the brand has incorporated a Ripstop grid into the classic Plated Reflective material we have seen on the last few Reflective capsules. The full range includes a selection of colours and two jacket styles with pants and accessories to come also.

The AW19 range again draws inspiration from the theme of "Industrial Strength" with military and workwear themes throughout. Following on from the most recent S/S season with a focus on orange, but moving away from the Fluo we saw for summer to more of a burnt orange. The Autumnal colour scheme carries on into burgundy, olive, sand and grey from what we have seen so far. Of course the range of materials includes the classics such as David TC, Nylon Metal, Micro Reps and Lamy Velour but also features some new ones. There is a return of the classic Woolen Blanket Duffle material with a modern twist and also an appearance of the Tank Shield material last used a couple of seasons ago on the Ghost range, but this time in a Wool Stretch guise.

-------------------------

Talking of the Ghost range, we also see previews of two new styles of jackets and a return to the white Ghost which was of course the first ever colour seen on the Ghost range back in 2011.

-------------------------

With summer only just just fully setting in it's hard to picture yourself in a big down jacket right now but from what we have seen so far we have a lot to look forward to this season! Keep your eyes peeled for detailed updates as more info surfaces on specific capsules and ranges.
